How to Act When Talking to Your Ex Girlfriend Again
How do you even start talking to your ex girlfriend again without making things awkward anyway?
Well, if you haven’t even reestablished contact with her yet, the best way to do this naturally is to simply find an easy reason to talk to her.
Think up some things that she likes and see if any of those would present a good reason to get back in touch with her. For example, if she likes the band Modest Mouse, you might let her know if they are playing in town sometime soon.
After you get back in touch with her, you should quickly transition to a casual coffee date so that you can see her in person. This way you can actually meet her again instead of talking on the phone or over email.
When you meet in person and you start talking to your ex girlfriend again, you want to make sure that you act completely relaxed. The last thing you want is to come off as nervous or intimidated by her.
Keep the conversation light and fun, if possible, but don’t be afraid to talk about serious things if she wants to go there. Just treat this like you would any other date. Talking to your ex girlfriend shouldn’t be any more stressful or intimidating than talking to an old friend or a girl you’re dating for the first time.
Don’t be afraid to flirt either when talking to your ex girlfriend. This is a great way to amp up the romance and re-spark those feelings of attraction between the two of you.
After the first date, continue to see your ex girlfriend more casually. Just start dating her like you would a new woman you were seeing. Continue talking to your ex girlfriend and if things seem to be going well after a few dates, you might want to ask her if she thinks you two should give your relationship another chance.
So basically, you just want to start talking to your ex girlfriend again by finding any sort of casual reason to talk to her again. This just opens to channels of communication again between her and you.
Then just start talking to her like you would when the two of you were together (relaxed and comfortable–but not baby-talk or pet name comfortable). Keep seeing her regularly and don’t be afraid to flirt with her.
Keep this up for a few weeks and when things feel right, ask her to give a relationship with you another shot. If things feel good and they are fun for her, she should be more than happy to say yes to you.
